Processing Out Loud
Hi. I’m Paige. I’m a mom, community organizer, nonprofit treasurer, and the kind of person who reads the actual research before forming an opinion.
I also use AI every single day. Not because I think it’s perfect, but because it’s genuinely useful, and I think more people should know that.
This site is where I process things out loud: the good, the messy, and the “wait, that actually worked?” moments of using AI in real life. I write about what happens when a regular person (not a developer, not a tech exec) brings AI into her daily routine and actually pays attention to the results.
What You’ll Find Here
The Receipts — I look up the actual data behind AI headlines so you don’t have to. Water usage, energy consumption, bias studies… if people are arguing about it, I want to see the numbers.
AI in Everyday Life — Real stories about using AI as a parent, a volunteer, a community member. No jargon, no hype, just what it’s actually like.
ADHD and the AI Brain — How AI became the patient, tireless assistant my neurodivergent brain always needed (and why that matters for accessibility).
Resources — Practical guides for real people. What to do when AI gets stuck, how to create handoff docs, and more. Start here: What Your Community Should Know Before Approving a Data Center.
One More Thing
I use AI to help me research and write everything here, and I’m not hiding it. The ideas, opinions, and experiences are mine. AI helps me organize, source, and say it more clearly than I could at 10pm after the kids are in bed. Full transparency, always.
Welcome to the process.
